Severny (former 3rd Murinsky) Bridge across the Murinsky Brook is located in line with Severny Prospect in Kalininsky District of St. Petersburg.

The bridge was built in 1976-1977 under the project of engineer A.N.Sobolev of Lengorpoinzhproject to provide transport communications between a new residential district and central districts of the city.

The bridge is a single-span reinforced concrete three-hinged frame structure with the curved outline of the lower chord. The frame transom is made of modular reinforced concrete elements. The frame legs supported by the grillage plate are made of the monolithic reinforced concrete.

The bridge abutments are massive monolithic reinforced concrete ones on pile foundation and faced with limestone tiles. The cone under the bridge is paved with reinforced concrete slabs. Low reinforced concrete retaining wall is placed adjacent to the abutments.

Four stair descents faced with dolomitic tiles are arranged at the bridge approaches.

The roadway is paved with small-grained asphalt; sidewalks – with sand asphalt. The sidewalk is separated from the roadway with granite border and metal barrier fencing.

Composite railings of cast iron sections and metal inserts are installed on the bridge. The end parapets are of concrete faced with dolomitic tiles.

The modern name was assigned to the bridge in 1979.

In 2013 the destroyed bridge parapets faced with limestone tiles were changed with the granite ones.
